Let your Kids Enjoy the Summer

Summer is a perfect time for family bonding, whether it’s a backyard barbecue or relaxing under the sun escapade. But sometimes it can be more fun when you splash around and play in the backyard inflatable pool or a swimming pool to break the heat of summer.

There are so many fun activities and toys to play to keep your kids busy and never get bored during summer.

Here are some water and pool activities for your kids:

Underwater photography
Let them play in a kiddie pool, using a underwater camera. They can pretend as an ocean explorer. Put some stuffs at the bottom of the pool like marbles, coins and let them search for the hidden treasure. They will surely enjoy taking some pictures of their underwater adventure.

Bath toys
Bath toys are also great toys in the pool especially for the toddlers who cannot play the water games with older children. There are varieties of wind-up toys that propel themselves around the pool. Toddlers will be fascinated to see all those toys floating and they will try to grab some toys that get close to them which can also help the kids with their fine motor skills.

Dive rings and ball
You can throw these toys into the water and they sink right at the bottom of the pool. Then you can create a variety of activities from the dive rings and balls, like relay race, the first person who gets to the ball or ring at the bottom wins or whoever gets the required color of the ball or ring wins.

Ring toss sprayer
This can be hooked up to a garden hose or floating in the pool. Ring toss sprayer has five inflatable posts with rings, the person that tosses the most rings onto the posts wins.

Water balloon dodge
Make some water balloon. One person will throw the water balloons at the rest of the players who is lined up; the games objective is to avoid being hit by the water balloon. When someone is hit by a ball, they get soaked in water and out of the game and the pool. If someone manages to catch the balloon he can throw it back to the thrower. The last person standing will be the next thrower.

Summer can be a lot of fun for kids, just make sure that you choose the age appropriate toys and activities for your kids. Safety should always come first.
